She is a holder of a BA in Business Management and an MSc in Human Resources & Employment Relations.

Prior to joining EPW in 2017, Marialena has been employed for a period of 11 years by a Big four audit firm in the HR Advisory Department (People & Change Services, Management Consulting), where she reached the position of Manager. She has gained professional experience in the Human Resources field, specifically in the provision of Executive Search and Selection Services, Performance Management, Learning and Development Needs Identification, Employee Satisfaction Surveys and other relevant services. Marialena assists clients in improving employee performance through the effective management of their people and the implementation of Human Resources strategies and practices which promote fairness, commitment and excellence. She is managing the internal HR department of the company. Furthermore, she is the acting Compliance Officer of the firm, ensuring that the relevant policies are being followed and in line with the rules and regulations outlined by law & ICPAC.

He is a holder of a BA in Business Administration, Finance and Investment and a BA in Accounting. He is also a holder of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA). Demetris is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK and of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).

He has extensive experience in Audit and Accounting fields, specifically in the preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Planning, Auditing and Consulting. Demetris has also gained significant experience from his supervisory role in a large retail organisation, particularly in stock monitoring and control processes and the successful implementation of internal control procedures. Demetris heads the Accounting Department of the firm.

He qualified with Big Four audit firms in Cyprus as well as in Greece, where he was employed for a period of 8 years from 2000 until 2008. Apostolos has extensive experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and Auditing, Tax Planning and Consulting as well as Corporate Compliance services. Prior to joining EPW between the years 2009 to 2016 he served as Director (Audit Department) within a medium sized Audit firm. Managing a broad portfolio of both local and international clients from the banking, construction, telecommunications, transportation as well as general trading sectors, Apostolos has acquired over the years substantial experience and has developed the necessary competencies that greatly assist his clients.

Apostolos is a Director of the Company and heads the Audit Department, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements specified under the Cyprus law, assisting clients to maximize the opportunities presented under the Cyprus corporate environment.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1978 in London, he started his career in Cyprus as a Senior Manager of a local public accountants firm, followed by a long career with the “NKS Shacolas Group of Companies”. After a two-year contract in Nigeria as the General Manager of the cement and animal feedstuffs trading company of the Group, he served from the position of General Manager in a number of Group companies from 1984 until 2006, with a 6 year interval in 1989-1994 when he served as Cyprus Airways’ CEO.

Panikos has held Directorships in quoted public companies and other large business in Cyprus such as Cyprus Trading Corporation (CTC), F.W. Woolworth, Cyprus Airways, Eurocypria Airlines, Paneuropean Insurance, Philiki Insurance, Aretaeio Medical Centre, etc. He served as the Chairman of the “Cyprus Association of Public Companies” (1990-1992) as well as the Chairman of the “Cyprus Retailers’ Association” (1997-2005). In 2006, when a 25 year BOT Concession Agreement was signed between Hermes Airports Ltd and the Cyprus Government for the construction of new Terminals and the operation of the Larnaka and Paphos International Airports, Panikos took up the position of “General Manager Finance & Administration”, until March 2016 when he joined EPW, utilising his wealth of knowledge and experience for the benefit of its clients.

Having qualified with a Big Four audit firm where he was employed for a period of 15 years from 2000 until 2014, George has extensive experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and Auditing, Tax Planning and Consulting as well as Corporate Compliance services.
